Special Effects - changing size
We were given some footage to test using special effects. This effect is used to make people seem much larger than they are. Usually you could use the pen tool in the opacity menu but the version we use doesn't have this feature meaning you have to crop the shot to the right size, which generally makes for a worse effect. We were then given green screen footage of a character dancing as well as another pointing at that person, as well as some background shots. We then had to resize the characters in order to create the effect of a smaller version pointing at a larger version. This was achieved by cropping the green screen as much as we could to hide as many creases as we could, as it wasn't flat and then using an ultra key to choose a specific colour to edit out, which is the green screen. This does however leave the creases in as well, sometimes affecting the quality of the video although not too much.
